Skipper bags Rs 2,570 crores contract from BSNL for executing 4G saturation projects
NEW DELHI: Homegrown power transmission and distribution (T&D) structure manufacturer Skipper has bagged a contract worth Rs 2,570 crores from state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for executing 4G saturation projects in uncovered villages of Rajasthan and Orissa.
BSNL has awarded the contract for the supply and erection of “ground-based telecom towers, Infrastructure as a Service Provider (IaaSP) for supply, installation of Infrastructure Items and subsequent O&M for 5 years extendable to 5 more years in the uncovered villages of India under 4G saturation projects”, the company said in a regulatory filing Friday.
