Sify Technologies profit jumps 91% year-on-year

CHENNAI: Information and communications technology (ICT) provider Sify Technologies has reported 23% year-on-year revenue growth in April-June quarter at Rs 645 crore. Revenue fell marginally from Rs 686 crore in the quarter ended March.

Net profit for the quarter was Rs 32 crore, an increase of 91% over the same quarter last year but a 60% fall from the immediately preceding quarter.

Revenue from data centre services grew 38%, and cloud and managed services revenue grew 24%.

“Lessons learned from dealing with the first wave of the pandemic have stood us in good stead as we continue to provide mission-critical ICT services in a challenging environment. India has quickly bounced back from the second with enterprises slowly returning to at-office business.
