Shiprocket to build about 30 new warehouses at a cost of around $20 million

E-commerce shipping and enablement platform Shiprocket has allocated about $20 million dollars towards building around 25 to 30 new warehouses in the next 12 months that will help to expedite delivery timelines, co-founder and COO, Akshay Gulati said.

“We are looking to invest $15-20 million in our fulfilment business over the next six to 12 months,” he said. “That is basically to be able to store products closer to consumers, to expedite timelines for delivery, so that instead of two to three days, we’re delivering in 24 to 48 hours.”
