Shareholders demand RP of RCom to give details of resolution plan
Mumbai: Shareholders of bankrupt telco Reliance Communications (RCom) on Monday demanded to know the details of the resolution plan, the haircut they would have to take and urged resolution professional (RP) Deloitte to be open for bids from global firms as well.
Ashush Nanavaty, RP, told the shareholders that they have received claims worth Rs 84,268 crore from their creditors and the quality of the resolution plan will depend on what the investors make of the claim. He added that a single bidder who will take up the entire firm, will be ideal.
“We have to give data to the investors. Preferably, entire company should be taken by single method, but entire value (of the assets) needs to be maximised,”said Nanavaty at the company’s AGM.
