Share market update: Telecom shares rise; ITI jumps 6%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading with gains in Wednesday’s morning session.

Shares of ITI (up 5.59 per cent) , HFCL Ltd (up 3.36 per cent) , Tejas Network (up 3.01 per cent) , Reliance Communications (up 2.7 per cent) , Aksh Optifibre (up 2.51 per cent) , Bharti Infratel Ltd (up 2.46 per cent) , Sterlite Technologies (up 2.24 per cent) , Vindhya Telelinks (up 2.09 per cent) , OnMobile Global (up 1.61 per cent) , Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (up 0.88 per cent) , Bharti Airtel (up 0.81 per cent) and Optiemus Infracom (up 0.53 per cent) were among the top gainers.
