Share market update: Telecom shares mixed; TTML surges nearly 10%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading on a mixed note in Monday’s afternoon session.

Shares of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (up 9.86 per cent), GTL Infrastructure (up 2.47 per cent), Sterlite Technologies (up 1.38 per cent), and Vodafone Idea (up 0.72 per cent) were the top performers in the index.

Aksh Optifibre (down 4.48 per cent), GTL (down 1.85 per cent), OnMobile Global (down 1.82 per cent) and Reliance Communications (down 1.47 per cent) were trading with losses.
