Share market update: Telecom shares mixed; Tejas Network dips 2%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday’s morning session.

Shares of Optiemus Infracom (up 2.78 per cent), HFCL Ltd (up 1.14 per cent), Vindhya Telelinks (up 0.89 per cent), OnMobile Global (up 0.3 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 0.28 per cent) and Bharti Infratel Ltd (up 0.28 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While GTPL Hathway (down 4.24 per cent), Tejas Network (down 2.49 per cent), Reliance Communications (down 1.2 per cent), ITI (down 0.86 per cent), Aksh Optifibre (down 0.84 per cent), Vodafone Idea (down 0.65 per cent), Sterlite Technologies (down 0.55 per cent) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (down 0.09 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
