Share market update: Telecom shares mixed; RCom slips over 3%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading on a mixed note in Monday’s morning session.

Shares of Optiemus Infracom (up 4.97 per cent), Vindhya Telelinks (up 1.6 per cent), Sterlite Technologies (up 0.87 per cent), HFCL Ltd (up 0.85 per cent), OnMobile Global (up 0.82 per cent), Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (up 0.67 per cent) and ITI (up 0.05 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Reliance Communications (down 3.49 per cent), GTPL Hathway (down 3.03 per cent), Bharti Infratel Ltd (down 2.1 per cent), Bharti Airtel (down 0.37 per cent), Aksh Optifibre (down 0.28 per cent), Tejas Network (down 0.16 per cent) and Vodafone Idea (down 0.16 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
