Share market update: Telecom shares mixed; GTL Infra up 3%

NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE Telecom index was up in Wednesday’s afternoon session with most of its components trading on a mixed note.

Shares of GTL Infrastructure (up 3.30 per cent) , OnMobile Global (up 2.56 per cent) , Bharti Infratel (up 0.89 per cent) and ITI (up 0.81 per cent) were trading with gains.

Reliance Communications (down 4.99 per cent) , Tejas Networks (down 3.03 per cent) , Vodafone Idea (down 1.52 per cent) and GTPL Hathway (down 1.43 per cent) were trading lower.

The S&P BSE Telecom index was trading 0.34 per cent up at 1019.31 around 12:26 pm.
