Share market update: Telecom shares fall; Vodafone Idea plunges 10%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading with losses in Thursday’s afternoon session.

Shares of Vodafone Idea (down 9.73 per cent) , Tejas Networks (down 4.50 per cent) , Bharti Infratel (down 4.26 per cent) and Vindhya Telelinks (down 1.62 per cent) were trading lower.

Sterlite Technologies (down 1.56 per cent) , Reliance Communications (down 1.43 per cent) , Bharti Airtel (down 1.04 per cent) and ITI (down 0.67 per cent) too were trading in the red.
