Share market update: Telecom shares down; GTL Infra dips nearly 4%

NEW DELHI: Most telecom shares were trading lower in Tuesday’s afternoon session.

Shares of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (down 6.16 per cent) , OnMobile Global (down 4.91 per cent) , GTL Infrastructure (down 3.85 per cent) and Aksh Optifibre (down 3.39 per cent) were trading in the red.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (down 2.93 per cent) , Tejas Networks (down 2.54 per cent) , Vodafone Idea (down 2.13 per cent) and Sterlite Technologies (down 2.09 per cent) too were trading lower.
