Share market update: Media shares mixed; TV18 Broadcast surges 13%

NEW DELHI: Media shares were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday’s afternoon session.

Shares of TV18 Broadcast (up​ 13.57 per cent)​, Network 18 Fincap (up​ 4.87 per cent)​, Balaji TelefilmsNSE -2.26 % (up​ 4.3 per cent)​, Zee Entertainment (up​ 1.32 per cent)​ and Music Broadcast (up​ 0.75 per cent)​ were among the top gainers.

While TV Today Network (down​ 3.14 per cent)​, Dish TV India (down​ 3.1 per cent)​, Zee Media Corporation Ltd (down​ 1.96 per cent)​, PVR (down​ 1.34 per cent)​, Sun TV Network (down​ 1.22 per cent)​, Saregama IndiaNSE -0.44 % (down​ 1.05 per cent)​, Inox Leisure (down​ 0.99 per cent)​ and DB Corp (down​ 0.2 per cent)​ were the top losers in the index.
