Share market update: Media shares mixed; Sun TV climbs 5%

NEW DELHI: Media shares were trading on a mixed note in Monday’s afternoon session.

Shares of Sun TV Network (up 4.9 per cent), Zee EntertainmentNSE 2.10 % (up 1.8 per cent), PVRNSE 0.88 % (up 1.55 per cent), Inox Leisure (up 0.65 per cent) and Dish TV India (up 0.4 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While DB CorpNSE -0.55 % (down 3.36 per cent), TV Today Network (down 2.15 per cent), Network 18 Fincap (down 1.97 per cent), Jagran Prakashan (down 1.19 per cent), Saregama India (down 1.13 per cent), Balaji Telefilms (down 1.06 per cent) and TV18 Broadcast (down 1.04 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
