Share market update: BSE Midcap index advances; Sun TV jumps 4%

NEW DELHI: The BSE Midcap index was trading with gains in Thursday’s afternoon session.

Shares of Godrej AgrovetNSE 5.32 % (up 6.43 per cent), NBCC (India) (up 4.22 per cent), Amara Raja Batteries (up 4.17 per cent), Sun TV NetworkNSE 1.65 % (up 3.77 per cent), Exide IndustriesNSE 3.07 % (up 3.57 per cent), Aditya Birla Capital Ltd (up 3.53 per cent), RBL Bank (up 3.32 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals (up 3.13 per cent) and Page Industries (up 2.9 per cent) were among the top gainers.
