Selection board names Sushil Kumar Mishra as BSNL’s consumer mobility director

NEW DELHI: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Thursday recommended the name of Sushil Kumar Mishra as a new director for consumer mobility at state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

Following the interview of six candidates including Sanjeev Kumar, director— Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL); Ramakant Sharma, principal general manager, BSNL and TV Venkatram, principal general manager, BSNL, the board recommended Mishra’s name.

Mishra, a 1984-batch Indian Telecommunications Services (ITS) officer, is presently serving as a principal general manager (PGM) at BSNL’s Karnataka circle.
