SDMC to upgrade e-education with support of DD channels

South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) Mayor Anamika said the civic body has decided to upgrade the online education with the support of Doordarshan Channel.

The education department of SDMC is encouraging the parents to watch Swayam Prabha Channel and download its app for better e-learning of the students, she said, adding that the corporation’s teachers are in constant touch with the parents and students and will send the time table and schedule of these programmes.

These educational programme of this channel aims to provide tutorials, clear concepts and impart knowledge to students and thematic pictographic video learning programmes for junior section classes

Anamika said that those students who do not have facilities like smartphones, tablets or laptops will be benefited by this channel at large.
