SC orders Centre to refund RCom Rs 104 cr

Supreme Court today ordered the Centre to refund around Rs 104 crore to Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications. This amount is the balance of the bank guarantee for spectrum, to be paid to RCom by Centre.

A two-judge bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Rohinton Nariman said this in its order and also rejected the Centre’s petition against an earlier tribunal ruling ordering the refund.
