SC adjourns RCom-Ericsson case till Wed, asks Anil Ambani to again attend
MUMBAI: The Supreme Court has ordered Reliance Communications Chairman Anil Ambani to appear in court again on Wednesday in the contempt case filed by Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson for non-payment of dues.
In a packed court on Tuesday, Ambani stood throughout the half-hour hearing. The chairman of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group last appeared in the Patiala Court over the 2G scam case in 2013 and before, that had visited the apex court in 2009 to attend the Krishna-Godavari basin gas case against Reliance Industries, owned by his elder brother Mukesh.
