SC Aadhaar Verdict

Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act was passed as Money Bill in 2016. On September 26, 2018, the Supreme Court by way of a majority judgment (4:1) has found the Act to be valid as Money Bill, which does not need passage by Rajya Sabha.
