Satcom to complement 5G, offer affordable connectivity in rural & remote areas

India needs to transform broadband from being an elitist tool to a facility which is available to the common man ubiquitously at affordable prices. Satellite communication (satcom) services will perfectly fit in here and will provide cost-effective broadband to the unconnected in rural and remote areas. In an interview with ETSatcom’s Mansi Taneja, Broadband India Forum President TV Ramachandran talks about satcom potential in India and how it plans to change the dynamics of the Indian internet market.
