Sansad TV removes scroll highlighting Modi govt’s achievements during no-trust debate after objection by opposition members

NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha proceedings were briefly disrupted on Tuesday afternoon when opposition members objected to Sansad TV running a continues scroll highlighting achievements of the Narendra Modi government while debate on the no-confidence motion was in progress and was being telecast live.

As soon as BJP member Nishikant Dubey began speaking against the motion after Congress MP Guarav Gogoi finished his opening speech, several opposition members, including the Congress, TMC and the DMK, protested over the issue.
