Sanchar Sathi

DoT initiative Sanchar Saathi portal to recover lost or stolen mobile phones is a very good move. So far more than half (51.73 pc) of the blocked/reported phones (12.78 lakh) have been traced. This is a very good number keeping in mind that the remaining could have found way to neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, etc. However, recovery through police action is very low. Only 12.45 per cent of the traced phone have been recovered.
