Samsung’s new foldable phone registers 150k pre-bookings: Executive

NEW DELHI: Samsung has clocked 1.5 times more response for its latest foldable smartphones than the previous version with 150,000 pre-bookings before the phones went on sale last week, a top Samsung India executive told ET.

“Since the time we launched the foldables, the pre-bookings have clocked 150,000 now and that is almost 1.5 times of what we had achieved with the predecessor, which is almost Rs 1,500 crore, and the adoption has been reasonably good,” said Raju Pullan, senior vice-president, Samsung India.
