Samsung’s message to buyers of its most expensive smartphone: Handle with care

After the initial hiccups and some glaring issues, Samsung’s first foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold finally went for sale earlier this month. Unveiled first in February 2019 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Galaxy Fold’s worldwide launch was delayed after the display cracked when handed out to international media for reviews. Samsung, however, fixed the issues and now has released a video about taking care of the Galaxy Fold.
The video is about the Galaxy Fold Premier Service and how it is essential for the “complete experience.” Apart from detailing what sets “the Galaxy Fold apart”, the video also makes some interesting revelations. Samsung says that this “precious display” needs just a light touch. The video also says in clear terms that the Galaxy Fold should be “kept clear of water and dust.”
