Samsung to acquire this French AI startup: Why it may be important for the South Korean tech company

Samsung has announced that it will buy French artificial intelligence company Sonio that develops AI-powered technology to boost medical diagnostic systems. The purchase will be done by medical equipment maker Samsung Medison, which is an affiliate of the smartphone giant Samsung Electronics.
