Samsung rolls out this new feature for Samsung Galaxy phone owners
Samsung is making it easier for its users in India to make digital payments in India. The Korean electronics giant has rolled out a new feature on its payments platform called Samsung Pay that makes it easy for its smartphone users to make digital payments. The company today announced that it is rolling out a new feature called Scan QR on its Galaxy smartphones. This new feature enables Samsung smartphone users to make QR code payments by opening the camera or selecting the Scan QR code option from the Quick Panel. The list of Samsung phones set to get this new feature include Galaxy A22, Galaxy A30s, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A32, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A51, Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A72, Galaxy F22, Galaxy F41, Galaxy F62 and more.
Samsung said that the Scan QR feature has been made specifically for India. The company also said that its newly introduced Scan QR feature can be accessed not only from its Samsung Payments app but also from the Camera app directly. When they scan a QR code directly from the Camera app on the Samsung Galaxy smartphones, they will be redirected to the Samsung Pay platform in order to complete the transfer process.
