Samsung rakes in Rs 14,400 cr in sales from strong festive season

Korean electronics major Samsung has had a strong festive season, raking in a turnover of Rs 14,400 crore across its mobile, wearables and tablets business, on the back of a strong upgrade cycle and 5G smartphone demand, a top executive said.

“Samsung had one of the best festive seasons this year. We recorded a turnover of Rs 14,400 crore in September and October,” Aditya Babbar, senior director and head of product marketing at Samsung, told ET.
