Samsung pips Apple to reclaim top position globally even as market falls: Canalys

NEW DELHI: The global smartphone shipments fell 13% to 269.8 million units in Q1 2023, with Samsung reclaiming the top position in the market and Apple at the second position, according to the latest report released by Canalys on Thursday.

“The demand decline has started to flatten, although the contrast between Q1 2022 and Q1 2023 is still stark,” said Canalys.
