Samsung may be planning a big change for foldable phones

It has not even been a month since Samsung launched its Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone and right before that it also took the wraps off the 5G variant of the Galaxy Z Flip; and now, there is a report that suggests that there may soon be another in the foldable smartphone category. However, this foldable phone is expected to be much more affordable.
According to a report by Sammobile, a new Samsung device — bearing model number SM-F415 — has been spotted, which is expected to be the next foldable phone from the South Korean tech giant. This is because all the previously launched foldable smartphones come with model numbers that have “F” for its Galaxy Z series handsets as SM-F900, SM-F700 and SM-F916 model numbers are of the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 2 respectively.
The report also adds that the source has suggested that the upcoming foldable phone may be available in two storage variants of 64GB and 128GB and come in three colour options — Black, Green and Blue. “Samsung could also go with mid-range specs to further trim the price,” said the report.
