Samsung launches Galaxy M31 with 64MP quad camera setup at ₹14,999
NEW DELHI : Samsung launched the Galaxy M31 in India today. The device will be placed in the highly competitive mid-range segment. Samsung has mostly made minor updates when compared with M30 and M30s. However, it comes with an upgraded primary camera setup and also houses a massive 6,000mAh battery. Samsung’s new Galaxy M31 comes with a polycarbonate back, a departure from the all glass panel look that its competition is subscribing to in this price segment.
The Galaxy M31 comes with a quad camera setup which features a 64MP module as the primary lens. To produce clearer but less memory consuming images, Samsung has instituted pixel binning technology that essentially produces sharp 16MP images using the primary lens.
The quad camera setup also comprises one 8MP wide-angle camera, one 5MP macro lens and the fourth is a 5MP depth sensor.
