Samsung India revenue rises 8.6% to Rs 82,451 crore in FY22

Samsung India’s revenue from operations rose 8.6% to Rs 82,451 crore in the financial year 2021-22 (FY22), driven by its mobile phone business, regulatory filings sourced from business intelligence platform Tofler showed.

The cell phone business alone contributed Rs 55,201 crore to revenue, according to the disclosure to the Registrar of Companies.

Net profit, however, fell 4.9% to Rs 3,844 crore, which industry executives said was due to aggressive pricing of mobile phones and televisions on e-commerce portals to win market share.
