Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra may come with adaptive screen refresh rate, S Pen support
NEW DELHI: Tech giant Samsung has confirmed that it will launch its next-generation Galaxy S series of smartphones on January 14. The company will launch the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Now a new leak has surfaced online which suggests that the most expensive Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with adaptive screen refresh rate and support for S Pen.
Popular leakster Ice Universe has shared a screenshot on Twitter which suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with WQHD+ resolution and adaptive refresh rate when switching to the top-end resolution option. Samsung introduced the feature of variable refresh rate with the last year launched Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The refresh rate on the Galaxy Note 20 can move from 10Hz to 120Hz. However, users should also have to keep in mind that switching the refresh rate of the display will adversely impact the battery life of the smartphone.
Apart from the variable refresh rate, a YouTube channel called Jimmy Promo shared a video which suggests that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with Samsung’s latest One UI 3.1. The new interface is said to be the part of the upcoming S series smartphones of the company. The video also suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with some S Pen features like Screen off memo, Air View, Air Command and a floating icon.
