Samsung Galaxy A Quantum 5G phone launched with a quantum security chip to protect data

Samsung along with SK Telecom has launched a 5G smartphone with a quantum random number generation chipset as an extra layer for security. The device is dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A Quantum helps users safely use a specific service in the device by generating unpredictable and patternless pure random numbers.
The quantum security chip will provide three layers of security which includes the quantum security-based T ID double login along with SK Pay biometric authentication and blockchain mobile electronic authentication service.
“Based on the random number provided by the quantum random number generation chipset, it is a concept that strengthens service security by generating encryption keys used in three services. All services go through an encryption-decryption process when data is stored or exchanged, and an encryption key is essential,” explained SK Telecom in a statement.
