Samsung foldable smartphones clock 1.5 times more pre-bookings than previous version

New Delhi: Samsung has clocked 1.5 times more pre-bookings for its latest foldable smartphones than the previous version with 150,000 pre-bookings till the phones went on sale last week, a top Samsung India executive told ET.

“Since the time we launched the foldables, the prebookings have clocked 150,000 now and that is almost 1.5 times of what we had achieved with the predecessor, which is almost Rs 1,500 crores, and the adoption has been reasonably good,” said Raju Pullan, senior vice president, Samsung India.
