SAD demands SC probe into ‘Call Gate’ scandal involving Goswami

Expressing surprise over why the Central Government had not taken note of the “Call Gate” scandal involving Republic television editor Arnab Goswami, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Monday said that the BJP Government should not let any media house compromise the national security at any cost.

SAD leader and former Minister Maheshinder Singh Grewal said that it was shocking that despite disclosures revealing that Goswami had even leaked information about Balakot strikes, the NDA Government was yet to order an inquiry into the case.

“Keeping in view the fact that the Central Government has done nothing in the case, we demand that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court probe the case as the nation wants the truth in the case to be presented before the people,”
