Sachin Bansal invests Rs. 650 cr in ride-hailing Ola

Ride-haling platform Ola on Tuesday confirmed an investment of Rs. 650 crore ($92 million) from Sachin Bansal, a co-founder of Flipkart. This investment is a part of Ola’s larger Series-J funding round and is in Bansal’s personal capacity as an investor.

“Ola has emerged a global force in the mobility space and continues to build deeper for Indians through their platform,” said Bansal.

BusinessLine had earlier reported that Bansal had invested Rs. 650 crore into Ola as part of its Series-J funding round.
