SaaS startup Rocketlane raises $3 million in seed funding

Rocketlane, a B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup, has raised $3 million in seed funding from Matrix Partners India and Nexus Venture Partners, continuing the trend of venture capital investors rushing to back Indian SaaS firms.

The funding round also saw participation from angel investors such as Shreesha Ramdas, CEO of Strikedeck; Jonathan Swanson, cofounder of Thumbtack; Krish Subramanian and Rajaraman Santhanam, cofounders of Chargebee; Yamini Bhat, CEO of Vymo; and Pradeep Rathinam, CCO of Freshworks.
