Saankhya Labs collaborates with Ligado Networks on satcom solutions

NEW DELHI: Homegrown semiconductor solutions company Saankhya Labs and U.S.-based Ligado Networks on Monday said they have inked an ecosystem partnership agreement to satellite communication (satcom) products and technology.

As part of the agreement, both companies will collaborate and explore the possibility of increasing the adoption of mobile broadcast technologies for operation on Ligado’s satellite network, as Ligado moves to enable integration of standards-based satellite connectivity to tap into the market of mobile broadcast and multicast services.
