JOHANNESBURG: South African mobile operator MTN Group Ltd said on Thursday its first-half earnings declined by 10%, missing market expectations, due to non-operational and one-off items.
Reported headline earnings per share, the main profit measure in South Africa, fell to 387 cents in the six months ended June 30, down from 430 cents in the same period a year earlier.
