RingCentral gets Unified License from India’s telecom department

NEW DELHI: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has granted a Unified License to cloud communications and contact center solutions provider, RingCentral.

The license will enable the company to offer its Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solutions in India.

The company said it will provide access to RingCentral’s Message Video Phone (MVP) solutions globally, including in India, to help organizations transition to the Cloud.
