Rentomojo informs customers about cyber attack, says their financial data is safe

Furniture and appliance rental startup Rentomojo has told its customers that hackers gained access to one of its databases, compromising some personal information of its users.

“Recently, our team identified a security breach that involved unauthorised access to one of our databases,” founder Geetansh Bamania said in an email to customers. He said that the company has initiated an investigation and has engaged leading cybersecurity and legal experts to assist the firm.
