Reliance Jio’s new ₹49, ₹69 plan for JioPhone users: All you need to know

Reliance Jio has been steadily increasing prices of popular plans that offer data and calling. The hike can be attributed to increasing regulations by the telecom authorities. However, subscribers across different network carriers have to bear the brunt of higher mobile phone bills and recharges.

According to data provided by TRAI, Reliance Jio and other network carriers struggled with maintaining growth in subscriber base in the month of December. Reliance Jio had just registered 82,308 new subscribers which is paltry in comparison to their average of 8 million subscribers per month.

To increase the number of subscribers, the company has launched special offers for just JioPhone users.
