New Delhi: Jio Platforms Ltd (JPL), which houses Reliance Industries’ telecom and digital properties, posted a 11.6% on-year rise in quarterly net profit, helped mainly by strong user additions and higher data usage during the recent cricket World Cup.
Quarterly ARPU (average revenue per user), a key performance metric, though, remained flat sequentially at Rs 181.7 for India’s largest telco by subscriber base.
For the October-December quarter, JPL’s consolidated net profit rose to Rs 5,445 crore from Rs 5,297 crore in the September quarter and Rs 4,881 crore in the year-ago period.
