Reliance Jio Q1 Results: Net profit up 24% YoY, ARPU rises to Rs 175.7

Jio Platforms Ltd. (JPL) posted a 24% on-year rise in net profit in the first quarter of fiscal year 2022-23 (FY23), driven by higher data and voice consumption and growing average revenue per user (ARPU).

It also stemmed subscriber losses after three quarters, reporting 9.7 million net additions, taking its subscriber base to 419.9 million by the end of the quarter, which analysts said, signalled an end to the SIM consolidation it witnessed since the tariff hikes late last year.
