Reliance Jio Q1 hit by sharp rise in costs, revenue sees strong flow through of price hikes: Analysts

Reliance NSE 0.62 % Jio has seen a sharp jump in expenses, including outflows towards network costs, depreciation & amortisation (D&A), access and diesel charges in the fiscal first quarter, which has led to subdued incremental operating margins, analysts said.

They, though, said Jio’s 4.7% sequential revenue growth in the June quarter, on the back of decent mobile/home broadband user adds and average revenue per user (ARPU) growth, beat expectations and reflected strong flow-through of the tariff hike taken last December.
