Reliance Jio outpaces Bharti Airtel in active user additions in January

Reliance Jio added the highest number of active mobile users among India’s top telcos in January 2023, which, analysts said, was helped by strong gains in Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. They added that this also indicated that the Mukesh Ambani-led telco is acquiring quality customers and is not impacted by SIM consolidation in the sector.
