Reliance Jio on track for fastest 5G rollout in the world: Chairman Akash Ambani

Reliance Jio, India’s largest mobile phone operator, is on track to have the fastest 5G rollout in the world, covering all of India by December 2023, having already covered 277 cities, chairman Akash Ambani said.

“Jio has launched true 5G service in 277 cities across the nation, with the largest deployment of more than 40,000 sites and almost 2,50,000 Cells of 5G network in 700 Mhz as well as in the 3500 Mhz band,” Ambani said.
