Reliance Jio may launch its Fixed Wireless Access device with discount offer

Reliance Jio, a key player in India’s telecom market, is speculated to launch its fixed wireless access (FWA) offering, known as Jio AirFiber. Insiders predict that the official announcement could come during the forthcoming annual general meeting (AGM). Industry insiders and analysts told ET that the device could carry up to a 20% discount compared to existing options on the market. This move marks Jio’s primary endeavor to capitalize on 5G technology for revenue generation following its earlier introduction of data top packs earlier this year.
