Reliance Jio launches eSIM support for Motorola Razr

Reliance Jio has announced eSIM support for recently launched Motorola’s foldable display smartphone — Moto Razr. As the smartphone’s overall profile is slim just like the original Motorola Razr, the company has opted for eSIM support instead of the traditional SIM card slot.
Considering eSIM is still a new concept in the smartphone market not many telecom operators are currently offering the eSIM service. However, with Jio enabling the eSIM support for Motorola Razr, it will allow buyers of the device to make calls, use data and apps on Jio network without any physical SIM card. The service will be available for free and any existing or new Jio prepaid or postpaid customer will be able to use the eSIM service with Motorola Razr.
Along with this, Reliance Jio is also offering Motorola Razr users on Jio network additional 1-year of unlimited service without any extra cost. Users will also get double data benefits on recharging with Rs 4,999 annual plan which means users will get a total of 700GB (350GB + 350GB) data for a year including unlimited calling.
