Reliance Jio Fiber broadband plans: Free 4K TV to free calls to free set-top box

Reliance Industries’s chairman Mukesh Ambani had announced details of Jio’s upcoming high-speed broadband internet service, Jio Fiber, at company’s AGM earlier this week. Ambani said the prices of the Jio Fiber plans would range between ₹700 and ₹10,000, all of which would also come with a fixed line connection, Jio’s set-top box and access to the best OTT media services. The subscription to Jio Fiber will start from ₹700 a month, with internet speed starting from 100 Mbps. The ₹10,000 plan targets ‘power users’. Ambani said the average fixed-line download speed in the US, the most developed economy in the world, is around 90 Mbps.
